The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of The West Indies, St. Augustine, enjoys over ten years of continuous accreditation to the Chartered Engineer Level by The Institution of Engineering and Technology, IET.
The IET was previously known as The Institution of Electrical Engineers, IEE, before its merger into the IET. The IET is one of the world's leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community. It has more than 150,000 members in 127 countries.
