The University of the West Indies Faculty of Engineering “Build a Tower” Project

This is a task-oriented competitive project designed as an integral component for Project Management and Value Engineering and Management courses in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, respectively at UWI. The project stresses teamwork, creativity, cooperation and coordination, and more importantly, the challenge of achieving best value. All project teams should design and build a tower that is considered functional fit and meets the height and loading requirements. All proposed materials, tools and equipment would be provided by and/or allocated via the Faculty of Engineering.
